Eragon by Christopher Paolini is a good book. I love the start of the book, "Wind howled through the night..." is a great start to a long book, drawing the readers attention from the start. The main characters are Eragon, Sapphira and a man named Brom. Another character enters and his name is Murtagh and Arya.
It is a great fantasy book about a young farm boy who intends to track down the Ra'zac (the creatures that killed his father) and embarks on a journey to track them down. He soon figures out that his purpose is much larger then he expected, being told that he is the last dragon rider.
It is a good book, but I think Christopher Paolini will get better with age and I hope that he continues on with the Inheritance trilogy.
